The 16th annual Lebanese Festival is returning to Montreal.
From its humble starts, the neighbourhood party has gradually become a large-scale social and cultural event where thousands of families and visitors gather to celebrate.
Last year’s festival, which was held from June 14 to 17, managed to gather more than 40,000 visitors of different nationalities and origins over the four-day festival. This year’s celebration will be no different.
The festival will include multiple kiosks, where delicious Lebanese food, authentic souvenirs, and other promotions and activities will be found. Several kiosks and stations will also have games for younger visitors to play.
A large stage will feature a constant mix of live music, dancing, and singing, all of which will be broadcasted live on a local radio station. Best of all is the festival is completely free to attend!
According to a statement on their website, this year’s festival celebrates 125 years of “existence and contribution of the Lebanese community to Montreal life.” This year’s festival will take place from Thursday, June 14 to Sunday, June 17, 2018.
