From food festivals to outdoor concerts, here are 13 things to do in Montreal this weekend:

Saturday, June 18

Ellie Goulding

What: The haunting and beautiful voice of Ellie Goulding will take over the Bell Centre tonight. If there are tickets left, consider yourself lucky.

Festival Folk sur le Canal

What: The ninth annual Folk Fest and free outdoor porgramming is back! Starting Friday afternoon, check out the Esplanade du Centenaire for a weekend of free music and entertainment. This year’s lineup promises an incredible diversity of sound—from old-time and traditional Quebecois to bluegrass and singer/songwriter indie-folk.

Strangers in the Night 12

What: Strangers in the Night is back and promises to be bigger than ever! The CF Fairview Pointe Claire parking lot will be transformed into a virtual hall under the stars, where over 200 tables from Montreal’s top restaurants will be ready to feed you all night long. The best part? All proceeds go towards the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

A Taste of the Caribbean

Return to Grace

Les FrancoFolies de Montréal

What: Since 1989, Les FrancoFolies de Montréal has been the true reflection of a thriving French-speaking music world. Nearly 70 indoor shows and 180 free outdoor concerts will be on the menu during this fun-filled program.

Tam Tams

Mural Festival

What: Located in the heart of Saint-Laurent boulevard, MURAL’s program offers the public a plethora of art related activities. You will have the opportunity to witness the making of murals in real time, attend exclusive musical events, enjoy outdoor exhibitions, and feast in sublime gastronomy. Don’t forget their big closing bbq taking place on the boulevard today!

Montreal Fringe Festival

Piknic Electronik
