10 Montreal Concerts to Check Out in June

Whether you’re a folk-lover, jazz junkie, pop culture addict or a craver of classic hits, Montreal’s June concert lineup offers a little something for everyone.

From indoor concerts, to large outdoor festivals, here are some of the best concerts to hit the 514 this June.

The Chainsmokers

American electronic dance duo, The Chainsmokers will make a stop in Montreal, playing at the Bell Centre on June 1st. Joining them are Kiiara and Lost Frequencies, who will be opening the show.

Timber Timbre

Juno-winning Canadian music group Timber Timbre will fill the Olympia theatre with their psychedelic-folk sounds to kick off the weekend.

Franz Ferdinand 

Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand are back with their first shows in three years, complete with two new additions to the group, Dino Bardot and Julian Corrie.

LP

The Jacksons

If you missed a chance to see Michael Jackson perform live, this is the closest you’re going to get to him. The famous pop-star’s brothers are in town with an anniversary-marking tour, The Jacksons: A Celebration of 50 Years.

Folk Fest Sur le Canal

This breezy, five-day folk festival features acts like Sarah Harmer, Donovan Woods and Ian Kelly.

Montreal International Jazz Festival

Taking over the city with no shortage of inspiration for date night or entertaining out-of-town friends, the famous Montreal Jazz Fest features both free concerts at outdoor stages and ticketed concerts at various venues.

Nickelback
