Everyone’s talking about cannabis ahead of legalization next month. Joining the conversation in BC is Spinach, through the launch of their very own munchies-themed food truck!

Spinach, an Okanagan Valley-born brand, is known for its terpene-rich products and the unique flavours of its different strains which contain no harmful additives.

Now the brand has teamed up with top chef Trevor Bird to reinvent your favourite munchies using farm-to-bowl ingredients (excluding cannabis).

These munchies will be available from Vancouver’s first cannabis-themed food truck which will be travelling throughout the city from now to October 11.

You’ll be able to order tasty eats like the ‘Wake n’ Bake’ – breakfast bagels upgraded with delicious toppings, to ‘Smoked Nugz’ – chicken nuggets and tater tots with a dose of smoky aioli.

It gets even better.

The ‘Baked Burger Bowl’ combines a burger, special sauce, cheese, and macaroni into what might be the best mac n’ cheese you’ve tasted.

And for dessert, you can get the ‘Decadank Delight’ – a waffle roll plus chocolate plusā€¦ more chocolate!

If you want the opportunity to try these non-infused dishes at the Spinach Farms Food Truck, you’ll need to be aged 19+ and have your ID with you as you’ll also get to learn about the brand and the individual strains that they offer.

These strains include Sensi-Star, an indicaĀ strain that is relaxing and calming; Diesel, a hybrid for socializing; and Dancehall, a sativa strain for a clear-headed high.

Spinach adheres to strict quality controls during the growing process which removes the need to use gamma irradiation and electron-beam processing that can impact the flavour, aroma and overall quality of the product.
