Baseball will return with a bang – literally – in Vancouver this season.

Not one, but two fireworks extravaganzas will kick off the season for the Vancouver Canadians at Nat Bailey Stadium. The defending Northwest League champions, who begin their home schedule against Everett next month, will light up the sky after games on June 20 and 21.

Here’s the list of dates that include post-game fireworks:

  • Wednesday, June 20
  • Thursday, June 21
  • Saturday, June 30
  • Saturday, July 7
  • Saturday, July 21
  • Saturday, July 28
  • Saturday, August 18
  • Saturday, August 25

Of their 38 home dates in the coming season, 13 take place as daytime ballgames with “Nooners at the Nat” and six “A&W Family Fun Sundays.” Family Fun Sundays includes children receiving a giveaway at the gate and kids aged 12 and younger being able to run the bases post game.

Another can’t-miss date of the season includes July 9, when fans will be able to bring their pets to the game. Wednesday, August 15 also includes a fleece blanket giveaway, among throwback jersey nights and more giveaways to be announced.
