Toronto's massive 420 celebration moving to Nathan Phillips Square this year

Apr 10 2018, 7:48 pm

420, the holy grail of days for weed smokers, will be taking over Toronto next Friday, and the city’s massive all-day bash will take place for the first time at Nathan Phillips Square.

And with the upcoming legalization of weed, you can bet that the mood will be extra-celebratory.

Stoners of all ages are welcome to light up and enjoy the festivities, which include over two dozen vendors, speakers including the “Prince of Pot” himself, Marc Emery, live music and delicious food truck options like Smoke’s Poutinerie and Stax Baking Co. for when you get the munchies.

Make sure to stay until 4:20, so you can join thousands of fellow stoners in the ceremonial smoking of a giant joint.

This year’s event isn’t permitted by the City of Toronto and Chris Goodwin, the event organizer, is encouraging all attendees to arrive early.
