Learn what's next for post-legalization Canada at the O'Cannabiz Conference this December

Canada’s leading cannabis conference is coming to Vancouver this winter.

The O’Cannabiz Conference will be taking place from December 9 to 11 at the Parq Casino Resort.

The event will bring together experts in the industry who will discuss and debate issues and topics including tourism, quality control, aboriginal participation, and potential corporate mergers.

Among the keynote speakers includes actor and former TV personality Montel Williams. Williams has been an advocate for medical cannabis for several years after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Krishna Andavolu of VICELAND’s Weediqette web series will be speaking about media coverage on cannabis.

Dr. Mike Dixon, Professor at the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph, and Dr. Dedi Meiri, Principle Investigator at Technion Israel Institute of Tech and the Laboratory of Cancer Biology and Cannabinoid Research will be speaking about significant scientific research in the industry.

  • Peter Vogel – Co-founder and CEO of Lifewire
  • Jamie Shaw – Partner at Groundwork

There will be over 100 industry-leading speakers at the event, offering their expertise on the industry.

The conference will also feature an inaugural one-day forum called Cannabis Meets Healthcare, which will focus on the medical community and allow members to network and expand their knowledge about medical use. The exclusive all-day ticketed event is taking place on Sunday, December 9.
