LA's MidiCi pizza company to open first Canadian location just north of Toronto

MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company is coming to Canada!

The brand prides itself on serving up authentic Neapolitan Pizza featuring a “chewy and crisp dough topped with all-natural ingredients, all baked to perfection in 90 seconds.”

A new location from the LA-based chain of pizzeria was announced in part of Market & Co. opening at Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket this Septemeber. The full-service restaurant will be the first outpost in Canada though the brand already boasts more than 60 existing and incoming locations across the US.

The restaurant is famous for its Neapolitan pizza dough described as “light, thin, soft and chewy, with a high crust.” It’s made with just four ingredients: non-gmo double zero Neapolitan flour, water, sea salt, and yeast, fired in 90 seconds and best enjoyed Italian-style, with a fork and knife.

Also on the menu, expect to find signature pies dressed with toppings such as truffle and prosciutto, eggs and bacon, and shrimp scampi, along with range of appetizers (think burrata, cure meat boards, and meatballs, salads, and desserts.
