You can walk through a 'Grape Tunnel' at this Metro Vancouver winery

There’s something special about visiting a BC winery in the summer months.

The weather is beautiful, the options are endless, and of course, nothing beats a tasting in the sunshine.

And while the many wineries across BC are special in their own right, one Metro Vancouver winery offers visitors a rather unique experience.

Located in Richmond, Lulu Island Winery is the region’s largest winery, with 15 acres of grapes.

It’s also home to a one-of-a-kind Grape Tunnel that’s open to visitors.

The tunnel allows visitors to not only look at the grape vines, but be fully surrounded by them, as they make their way through it.

Lulu Island Winery is located at 16880 Westminster Highway and is open every day from 10 am to 6:30 pm.

All of Lulu Island’s quality wines are produced on site, using grapes from the Okanagan and berries from the Fraser Valley.
