Famed Toronto restaurateur Jen Agg is taking over iconic Swan on Queen West

Serial restaurateur Jen Agg is opening a yet another new restaurant.

The owner of Toronto’s Cocktail Bar, Rhum Corner, Grey Gardens, and the soon-to-shutter Black Hoof has signed a lease for the Queen West diner that backs on to Trinity Bellwoods park.

In a post to Instagram last week, Agg calls the new spot, a “literal dream space (or at least I’ve been dreaming of it since I used to eat here with my parents in the late 90s/early 2000s when you basically had 2 choices for a cool dinner spot: Swan or Terroni—and maybe Taro if I’m being generous).”

The plan is to open Le Swan, a French diner along with Jake Skakun, David Greig and Chef James Santon.

The comfy booths will remain but expect a new colour scheme when Le Swan opens in September.

Le Swan

Address: Coming soon to 892 Queen Street West, Toronto
