As Sir Elton John continues on his whirlwind worldwide Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, the singer has cleared some room in his schedule to visit a local diner, which he says is home to the best burger in the world.

The Rocketman himself was in Toronto this week with his husband David Furnish, a Scarborough native, and posted a photo on his personal Instagram of them after eating at the Senator with the diner’s manager, Allen Gottschalk.

“Every time we come to Toronto, David and I pop into the Senator Diner for the best burger in the world. Thanks for the warm hospitality Allen,” wrote the award-winning singer in the Instagram caption.

If you haven’t stopped by the Senator for a burger, brunch or for the epic cookies before, we highly recommend doing so ASAP.

This isn’t the first time the singer has been spotted at a local establishment. Just last month the singer paid Toronto’s Sonic Boom a visit, which is located on Spadina just north of Queen Street.

While browsing through the independent record shop’s vinyl collection, the multi-award-winning singer and pianist was all smiles when he stopped to pose for a photo with staff.
