Vancouver's first-ever hip-hop music festival announces winter edition

After a summer festival debut that had several headliners cancel last minute, Breakout has announced that they’ll be making their return to Vancouver.

Timbre Concerts and Crescnedo1 have announced Winter Breakout 2018, a one-day concert that will take place at the Pacific Coliseum on Friday, December 14, 2018.

The concert lineup is as follows:

  • Lil Uzi Vert
  • Playboy Carti
  • Killy / Flipp Dinero / Valee
  • Killumantii
  • Illyminiachi
  • Acdatyoungn*gga
  • Rude Nala
  • Yurmsauce

Tickets will be priced at $99 for general admission and $150 for VIP, plus service charges and fees, and will go on sale on Friday, September 21 at 12 pm.

Breakout’s summer debut, which took place last June, went questionably wrong after seeing A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Kodie Shane, and Migos, cancel mid-festival.

After losing arguably the biggest name on the lineup, fans were outraged, and rightfully so. Tickets were also non-refundable, leaving many festival-goers down several hundred dollars.

Here’s to hoping that should this December’s concert go through, that everyone shows up as promised.
