37 colourful photos that'll make you want to visit the Abbotsford Tulip Festival
It’s a sure sign of spring in the Lower Mainland. The Abbotsford Tulip Festival is back for another season and the fields are now awash with colour as far as the eye can see.
With over 35 different varieties of tulips and 10 acres of breathtaking views, the festival also includes a children’s play area, a flower market, a U-Pick area to take home your very own bouquet, food trucks on site, and games for the whole family to enjoy.
The annual event, located at 36737 North Parallel Road in Abbotsford, runs every day 9 am to 7:30 pm, for as long as the blooms last.

Tickets can be purchased online and due to the popularity of the event, advanced purchases are highly recommended.
Ticket prices are as follows:
- Adults 13 – 64: $10 at the gate or $8 online (weekdays), $25 at the gate or $15 online (weekends)
- Children 3 – 12: $10 at the gate or $5 online (weekdays), $25 at the gate or $10 online (weekends)
- Seniors (65+): $5 at the gate or online (weekdays), $25 at the gate (weekends)
- Magic Hour: $15 at the gate or $13 online (weekdays), $30 at the gate or $25 online (weekends) Provides sunrise access
- Locals Night: $3 at the gate or $2 online on Tuesdays and Thursdays after 3 pm with valid ID
