The first ever X Warrior Challenge is hitting Stampede Park this Saturday, for an obstacle course race that will test your grit – literally.
The course features a series of more than 20 obstacles, spread over 5 km, mostly made up of pavement, stairs and concrete.
If you fancy testing your mettle, you can participate in the Stadium Sprint – going once around the track – or the X TITAN multi-lap challenge.
Starting at 8 am, waves of up to 15 racers will be released every minute.
X Warrior is also offering incentives for competitors to fundraise and support charities, including restaurant gift cards, free race entry and a free pre-race dinner.
This year, the three charities benefiting are KidSport, Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada and the YMCA.
Entry is between $60 and $90 depending on your ability, and includes a finisher medal, timing chip, race photos, free beer, and entry to a post-race party. Spectators go free.
