Taste of That Thing in the Desert

Calgarians will get a little taste of Nevada’s famous Burning Man festival so be prepared for some radical self-expression. It’s your opportunity to get interactive with workshops, live music and various art installations. Great for the young and not-so-young.

Rock ‘n Roll History of Space Exploration

Jay Ingram and the Cosmonauts will take you on a visual and musical journey through the explosive history of space exploration. Former host of Discovery Channel Canada’s Daily Planet, Jay Ingram, will show you how exploring the final frontier went from being science fiction to a reality.

Beakernight

You’re formally invited to Science’s largest urban street party! The illuminated streets of Bridgeland will be alive with performances, live music, installations and an art gallery. Cozy up to the Beakerbar for some cocktails and check out the funky attractions – including a pedal powered brain. Dress code: whatever you want!

La Bella Luna

What could be more relaxing than being serenaded by the University of Calgary’s trained choir under a sky dripping with stars?
