What: Watch Luge athletes compete to win in different categories. While the Viessmann Luge World Cup is occurring on December 19 there will also be another event, WinSport’s Christmas at the track, which includes seeing Santa, sleigh rides, a petting zoo and more.

Cost: Free on December 18, $15 for a family or $10 for an individual on December 19 ($5 off if you bring a lightly used jacket).
What: Get into the spirit of Christmas by taking a wagon ride, singing carols and visiting Santa. Perhaps decorating gingerbread cookies or visiting the petting zoo is more your style, there are plenty of activities to do at this ongoing traditional Christmas event.

What: Spirit in the Mountain, presented by Canmore Cave Tours, will get you into the spirit of Christmas. Be lead by your expert guides through the passages of Rats Nest Cave and be under ground for roughly 2 hours at this 4.5 hour event.
What: Incredible lights illuminate the Calgary Zoo in almost every colour imaginable. Along with beautiful scenery you can skate on their skating rink, visit Santa, do kids activities and watch the Calgary Zoo’s new interactive light display.

When: Now until Saturday, January 2 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Cost: $14 for general admission, $11 for children, and $5 for parking.
