What: During the 25th Anniversary of the Historic Week Calgary you will find 65 different events. Events include a hunt to discover hidden history nuggets throughout the city, historical cross word puzzles, and a history book is being developed from input by 20 volunteer authors.
What: Fringes are uncensored, non-juried shows, there are roughly 26 productions creating more than 160 performances over the 9 days. There is a wide variety of shows including imrov, dance, theater, film, and more.
What: For 4 years, Downtown Calgary has commissioned outdoor street pianos to encourage people to play and listen to music. There are now two pianos, the Woodlands piano located on 3rd street and 6th Avenue SW and the new one, Wee Little piano which features a book exchange, located on 8th ave & Centre Street SW. There will be different artists performing on these pianos on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

When: Tuesday, July 28 at noon to 1p.m. and Thurseday, July 30 at noon to 1p.m.
