Studio Bell, the partnership facility from the National Music Centre and the Bell Corporation, is almost ready to open in Calgary’s East Village, just in time for the 2016 JUNO Awards.

The building will host the new home of the National Music Centre, an organization dedicated to fostering love and appreciation for music in Canada, and will act a hub to connect musicians and technology.

The amenities of Studio Bell with include the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame Collection, acoustic and electric sound lab facilities, a 300-seat performance space with multiple reception areas, visual and audio broadcast facilities, distance learning centres for students, a cafe and retail spaces, and more.

The state-of-the-art building includes modern architecture, a three-storey bridged section, and 220,000 terra cotta tiles on the exterior. Check out the photos below to see Studio Bell’s progression.
