One of the best parties during the Calgary Stampede is moving from it’s iconic location for the upcoming season.

The 22nd annual Stampede Roundup is confirmed for Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at a site to be announced in the coming months.

“Fort Calgary has been a fabulous home for The Stampede Roundup and we have nothing but the greatest respect for the entire team at Fort Calgary, however we’ve determined the site is no longer compatible to our event needs,” said Caitlin Boyle, Executive Producer of The Stampede Roundup in a release.

“With the cancellation of two large-scale events at this location in the past two years, the site no longer provides the infrastructure or site conditions necessary to pull off large scale events in poor weather conditions. The safety, security and event experience for our event attendees is our top priority, and we are very excited to start a new chapter at a new location.”
