Ryan Gosling has been a certified heartthrob for quite awhile now.
And after winning a Golden Globe for his performance in La La Land and earning an Oscar nomination as well, it’s safe to say that the London, ON native, and his career, have never been hotter.
Too bad we can’t say the same for his new wax figure.
Madame Tussaud’s unveiled a likeness of the Canadian actor on Monday and, to put it lightly, it leaves much to be desired.
From the too-high hairline to its weirdly oblong face, it’s been called “creepy,” “terrifying,” and “a vast injustice to his handsomeness.”
@BuzzFeed looks like @RyanReynnoIds and @RyanGosling had an adult wax baby. #Ryansquared

@BuzzFeed This reminds me of the Belle doll. Why can’t anyone get the forehead/hairline right?

It’s unfortunate that the 2017 edition of Gosling in wax form so clearly missed the mark considering that just three years earlier, the Madame Tussauds in London gave the world a figure that was really, really, ridiculously good looking – just like the real thing.
Dressed in a navy blue suit, black bow tie, shiny patent leather shoes, and the perfect amount of scruff, this wax figure is positively swoon-worthy.
But one thing’s for sure – even though Gosling’s latest wax figure is not great, it’s nowhere near as bad as this Beyonce in Niagara Falls.
