Roughnecks kick off season with $5 beer, food, ticket promotion

The Calgary Roughnecks are kicking off the 2017-18 season in style.

That is, if your style is cheap tickets, food, and drinks.

As part of their $5 Preview Party promotion, tickets to the Roughnecks’ preseason game against the Vancouver Stealth on Saturday, November 18 will be offered for $5 for second-level seats, and $10 in the lower bowl.

The Roughnecks are debuting a $5 happy hour at concessions on the Scotiabank Saddledome concourse, as well as in Dutton’s Lounge and The King Club.

The food and drink happy hour will last from 5:30 to 8 pm during the Preview Party, and until 7 pm for the remainder of the season. The happy hour deal includes beer, wine, and highballs, as well as cheeseburgers and pizza.

Following the game, fans in attendance will be allowed onto the turf for autographs and photos with the Roughnecks.
