Rogers announced today that it will improve LTE wireless service in Lethbridge and between Calgary and Banff.

A new cell tower in West Lethbridge will provide customers improved wireless experience and increased coverage to make calls, access the web, and stream music in residential Lethbridge, and along the Trans Canada Highway between Banff and Calgary.

“Our customers want to be able to connect to the people and things they love, no matter where they are,” said Raj Doshi, Executive Vice-President of Rogers, in a release.

“That’s why we’re investing to make sure they have worry-free, reliable access to our great-performing network in more places. As communities across the province keep growing, we’re going to continue to invest in improving service across Alberta.”

The coverage is specifically important for those travelling on the Trans-Canada Highway as the new coverage will extend to Morely and Cheneka, improving safety and communication for motorists and residents.
