Now in its 18th year, the Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival will run over two days, and boast an array of local restaurants and food purveyors, as well as wine, spirit and beer retailers.

The festival kicks off on October 16 and once again offers Calgarians the chance to swirl, sip and sample a range of new products and flavours.

This year, the festival’s Grand Tasting Hall is expected to overflow with a diverse range of exhibitors. Indeed, attendees can expect to discover 140 wineries, featuring a distinguished collection of wines from 16 different countries, more than 150 brands of premium spirits, single malt and blended scotches, port, specialty liqueurs, and import and micro-brewed beers.

Also, on site this year will be a collection of food vendors, who will take it upon themselves to prepare a variety of gourmet culinary creations that will pair perfectly with the festival’s alcoholic libations. For those who are keen to find out more details on the festival’s drink and food offerings, knowledgeable industry experts will be on hand to impart their wisdom.
