The City of Red Deer approved the installation of two rainbow crosswalks at Ross (50) Street and Gaetz Avenue in Red Deer, Alberta for Central Alberta Pride week running August 13 to 20, 2017.

The Central Alberta Pride committee started a GoFundme page to raise the money required to hire union labour costs to paint the road.

After receiving a whopping $4,456, surpassing their $2,700 goal, the two aforementioned crosswalks in Red Deer are ready for Pride this weekend.

Happy Pride week Central Alberta!

We are so excited to support Central Alberta Pride by supplying the paint and supplies for their rainbow sidewalk. Still needing support for labor costs if anyone would like to join us. #pride #rainbow #love #peace #acceptance #centralalbertapride #fargeys #fargeysway
