RCMP find 3 dead bodies in vehicle in northern Alberta

Police are investigating three deaths in northern Alberta.

Shortly after noon on January 9, Wood Buffalo RCMP were responding to a call regarding three unresponsive people in a vehicle on the Laguna access road near Conklin, Alberta.

Upon further investigation, it was found that all three people had passed away, and were declared dead at the scene following an attempt at emergency first aid.

A release from the Wood Buffalo RCMP confirms that the driver was a 29-year-old man, while the two passengers were females aged 21-year-old and 22-year-old.

Any factors that may relate to the deaths are being investigated, according to the release, though police are not releasing the names of the deceased out of respect for their families.
