Season over: LeBron, Cavs complete sweep of Raptors

The misery finally came to an end for the Raptors on Sunday, with a 109-102 loss to complete a four-game sweep at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Without Kyle Lowry for the second straight game, Toronto couldn’t stop LeBron James and friends. The Raps were up by nearly 10 points early in the game but went cold while the Cavs got hot.

James had 16 points in the first half and used his teammates to kill the Raptors’ will.

The second half saw the Raptors fighting for their playoff lives. They started the fourth quarter down 85-80, and gave the ACC life when they pulled ahead for one possession.

But in the end, the Cavs had too many weapons for Toronto to handle.

Kyrie Irving played his best game of the series for Cleveland, dropping 27 and dishing out nine assists.

You can’t leave Kyle Korver open

Shooters love to play with James, and Kyle Korver is no different. He had 16 points in the first half on 6-of-8 shooting from behind the arc.

LeBron James is on another level and it’s insane to watch

It was another dominant performance and another playoff win for LeBron. The Cavaliers have now won 11-straight playoff games dating back to last year. James had over 30 points for the fourth straight time in this series, finishing with 35 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.

Future is anything but clear

Serge Ibaka, Kyle Lowry, and PJ Tucker are all free agents, while Dwane Casey’s job could be on the line. A partial blowup may be in order.

Lowry has been the heart of this team and Toronto will want to lock him up.

As for Ibaka and Tucker? They were supposed to be the kryptonite for LeBron but the King shooed away all competition.

We’ll soon find out if this dismantling causes firings and trades.

But as long as LeBron is in the East, it may not matter what they do.
