Stampede "Ramps Up" motorsports show for 2016

Jun 28 2016, 10:53 pm

The 2016 Calgary Stampede will host a 10-day-long extreme sports showcase at the Bell Adrenaline Ranch, and this year, it’s bigger and better than ever at the Stampede Corral.

The larger atmosphere of the Corral means more blinding lights, bigger ramps, badder pyrotechnics, and face-melting stunts.

Take for example the Utility Task Vehicle backflip — prepare to bathe yourself in the pure waters of unadulterated joy as a golf cart casts aside its earthly bounds and spits in the face of God Himself to flip upside down for your hedonistic pleasure.

Ramp Up shows are free with Stampede gate admission, and run daily at 12:30, 2:15, 4, 5:45, and 7:30 pm. If you think you can handle extreme morning stunts, there’ll also be special showings at 10 a.m. on July 10 for Suncor Family Day, and BMO Kids’ Day on July 13.
