New acute-care clinical area opening at St. Paul's Hospital seeks emergency nurses

The opportunity

Over the past six years, St. Paul’s Emergency Department in Vancouver has seen mental-health and substance-use patient visits more than double, prompting the need to find a better way to care for them.

The HUB at St. Paul’s will be a new clinical and transitional treatment space that unites emergency care, rapid access addiction treatment and a transition centre to help patients navigate the transition from acute to community care after they’re treated. The HUB is the first of its kind in Western Canada and you have the chance to contribute to its success.
