You can get a professional photoshoot for your dog this Saturday
Let’s face it, everyone thinks that their dog is just the cutest thing in the whole wide world.
While the pic you snapped and put as your phone background may look nice (if only because of the subject), it likely has nothing on the shots that could be taken by professionals with some legitimate gear.

Luckily enough for you, some SAIT Project Management students have put together a Puppy Photoshoot event for this Saturday – and no, you’re pup doesn’t have to actually be a puppy to participate. They’re accepting doggos of all ages and sizes.
The cost is $20, which will go towards the Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation, and will supply you with a digital copy of the best shot taken of your pet.
Whether you simply use it as your new phone background or order a few prints for the fridge, the photo will also be entered into the Pawsitive Match Calendar Contest, meaning that your pup could someday adorn schedules in other Calgarian homes.
You do have the option to opt-out of the contest, though the $20 spent on the photoshoot will automatically make your dog eligible at no extra cost.
If you’re missing the shoot but still want your pet to be Pawsitive Match’s March poster-pup (or any other month, for that matter), you can enter for $10 per photo, per pet, up until April 29.
Photos of your cats are also being accepted for the calendar contest – but we’d advise against bringing them to the photoshoot, as it’s at the Sue Higgins Dog Park…
