It’s a culinary mash-up not to be missed: The 5th annual Plate Swap event takes place January 20, 2017 and features five stellar chefs from around the globe taking on each other’s dishes for a delicious night of fundraising.

Benefitting the Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids program, Plate Swap will set the table at Model Milk, and will feature the following top culinary talents:

· Joël Watanabe from Kissa Tanto, Vancouver
· Lee Cooper from L’Abattoir, Vancouver
· Daniel Burns from Luksus, New York City
· Renzo Garibaldi from Osso Carniceria, Peru
· Justin Leboe from Model Milk + Pigeonhole, Calgary

“I am so grateful to be able to use the restaurant’s success to help others in my community that need it, and, if I can get chefs from around the word to participate, even better,” says Leboe in a media release.

Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids is a program that works with the Calgary Board of Education and ensures thousands of Calgary school children receive a well-balanced and nutritious lunch. To date, Plate Swap has provided 50,000 lunches to Calgary kids, and they hope to increase this number each year.
