The space was founded by Kiki Lally, who realized that there was a creative gap in the south of Calgary.

“I thought it was time for a suburbia to have a taste of downtown. A place to entertain my three kids, have a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, or a night out with friends,” Lally said in a release.
The studio hosts date nights, workshops, bridal showers and corporate events. In partnership with local businesses, Pinnovate also offers pizza, coffee, wine and beer.

There are over 60 “do it yourself” projects to choose from, and no experience is required. The instructors will make sure you leave with a piece of art that fits your own style.
As a plus, all the materials are on the house with admission. It’s time to stop dreaming with Pinterest ideas and get those creative juices flowing.
