There’s one bagel shop in Calgary that is going all out for Pink Shirt Day.
Bagelino’s knows what they’re doing when it comes to colourful baked goods. The company is already home to an infamous Rainbow Bagel, so a simple pink version must have been a walk in the park.
The all pink treats are only available today (Wednesday, February 28), and all proceeds from their sales will be going to The Boys and Girls Club of Calgary.
Pink Shirt Day was started in 2008, and has since seen over $1.8 million collected to support anti-bullying programs in western Canada.
Pink Shirt Day 2018 puts emphasis on standing up to cyber-bullying, thinking twice before posting something negative, and encouraging others to spread kindness instead of hostility.
If today’s pink bagels are anywhere near as delicious as the rest of Bagelino’s fare, we’re sure that they won’t be lasting long.
You can pick up your own at 809 7th Street SW, Calgary, between 7 am and 4 pm.
