Josh Archibald got his name on the Stanley Cup, but his son is the one that left the biggest impression.

It was Penguins forward’s day with the Cup on Wednesday, and he didn’t waste it, as he and his wife Bailey had their three-week-old baby baptized in it.

“Three-week-old Brecken Archibald gets baptized out of hockey’s Holy Grail,” Philip Pritchard, the keeper of the Cup tweeted.

Little Bracken was baptized in Brainerd, Minnesota where the Regina-born forward grew up and played high school hockey.

Archibald played a small part in the Pittsburgh Penguins’ Stanley Cup victory last season. The 24-year-old rookie appeared in 10 regular season games, scoring three goals. He got into just four playoff games – three in the Conference Final plus Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Archibald is living the dream right now.

In the last 18 months he made his NHL debut, got married, won the Stanley Cup, and had a baby.

How does he top that?
