There’s a new spot in Calgary that’s about to add more grilled goodness with a side of entertainment to the city’s food scene.
Newly-opened OMO specializes in Japanese teppan, and it already has its talented grillmasters speedily chopping and sending food flying for hungry patrons.

This new spot, located at 5222 Macleod Trail S, offers a lunch and dinner teppan menu. The restaurant’s head chefs Chef Tetsuhuru Tsuboi and Chef Robert Tanchico have prepared a menu serving up succulent meats (including mouth-watering wagyu and Kobe beef) and seafood like lobster tail and scallops.
Every teppan meal includes a side of culinary performance art that will leave you awestruck, while the smells and sounds make you salivate.
A standard menu is also offered if you’re craving fresh sushi, sashimi, noodles, tempura, or other classics as well.
