The annual and world wide phenomenon of the no pants party, is part of an annual global event started by Improv Everywhere in New York. The group describes itself as a prank collective that causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places, and has organized more than 100 events.
On Sunday, the event took place across the globe with Calgarians joining in on the fun as well.
Participants met up at The Palomino Smokehouse and Social Club and then jumped on the train together.

Calgary organizer, Thomas Terashima said this year 9 participants showed up with no pants, which is a record high Calgary turn-out.
Perhaps having it in January isn’t the best idea in Calgary.
“The cold weather always gives people an excuse not to come,” said Terashima. “The No Pants C-Train ride is the northern-most No Pants Subway Ride on this continent, and may have been the coldest one this year.”
Here is a shot of the brave group in Calgary and some other pictures and videos from around Canada.
