Newly renovated Earls Kitchen + Bar in Willow Park is now open

After extensive planning, Earls has now opened its newly renovated interior and patio to Calgary at Willow Park on Macleod Trail.

As guests arrive through the classic revolving doors they are greeted by light walls, entertaining art pieces and a lively atmosphere.

In the entry of the restaurant one will see impressionistic drawings painted by accomplished plein air painter Sarah Jane Fougere. The drawings are of fellow ACAD classmates and together the piece is dubbed “Portraits of ACAD Artists 2004”.

Choosing art to specifically support local and emerging artists is an integral ingredient at Earls Kitchen + Bar in Willow Park and there are an abundance of pieces to talk about while sitting down to a meal.

Earls sets the stage and teases diners as they walk though the restaurant to the back where they can catch a glimpse of the newly renovated open kitchen, where they can watch chefs and servers busy at work.

Along with the new renovation, Earls wants to change up some of their menu items to suit their new take on being more than a burger and fries joint, as well as to invite the fall and winter seasons.

Chefs and staff have been working hard to make the menu more catered to vegetarians.

The team at Earls have made strides with the added help of Gold Medal Plate winner Brian Skinner, who had previously owned Acorn (an award-winning Vancouver vegetarian restaurant), in curating a menu that meets a wide variety palates.

A few of the dishes that are being offered are the Roasted Corn + Pobalmo Dip,  Singapore Cauliflower, and the Jerusalem Salad appetizers. Indulge yourself with Confit Chicken + Pancetta Fetticcini, and Hunan Kung Pao, which is fully vegetarian but you can add your choice of meat.

From their variety of desserts, one fall favourite is the Warm Gingerbread Cake that comes with salted caramel sauce, roasted apples and vanilla bean gelato.

Creative seasonal drinks are also available on the menu such as Silly Wabbit, Lemon Meringue and cabin fever.
