Rough Night

A star-studded female ensemble, including Scarlett Johansson, Zoë Kravitz, and Kate McKinnon, bring some R-rated laughs to the big screen in Rough Night. Five best friends from college reunite, after a decade, for a debaucherous bachelorette party in Miami. Things quickly go awry when they accidentally kill a male stripper. In a market saturated with dumb male comedies, this could be a refreshing escape, in line with 2011’s Bridesmaids, that pushes the edgy envelope. Director Michael Bay has gone on record to say this will be his final one in the franchise; hopefully nobody takes over the reins.
