Monogram Coffee's Britannia location opens this week
Monogram Coffee is opening its doors soon in Britannia, which means the neighbourhood will finally be getting the caffeine kick it deserves.

With locations already in Altadore and in downtown’s Fifth Avenue place, the 800 49 Avenue SW spot will be Monogram’s third coffeehouse in Calgary, and it’s opening on Friday, January 19.
If you’re a java junkie who takes your coffee very seriously, Britannia’s newest coffee shop will be your go-to for deliciously handcrafted espresso-based beverages, filtered coffees, seasonal drinks, and a variety of flaky pastries and freshly baked goods.
You can expect an Insta-worthy tiled backdrop in the bright and minimalist space accented with natural wood benches and tables.
A sneak-peak interior shot at the Britannia location with tablets hints that the Honour Bar that brought buzz to their bustling downtown space will likely be at this location as well.
With faith in their customers, the Honour Bar allows customers to skip the line for the barista by letting them pick out their pastries, pour their drip coffee brew from the taps, and pay using a self-service tablet.
