BeaverTails Calgary is having its opening day in North Glenmore Park on Saturday
Calgary is about to get its very own BeaverTails mobile pastry shop, and we couldn’t be more excited, because what Canadian doesn’t love a sugary treat stretched by hand to resemble the tail of a beaver?

It’s about time too, considering the Canadian treat purveyor has over 100 stores from coast to coast, and locations internationally in Korea, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia – it’s definitely time for YYC to get in on some BeaverTails action.
You’ll be able to purchase the iconic whole-wheat pastries from the mobile location at its grand opening this weekend in North Glenmore Park in Parking Lot A on Saturday, May 6 between 10 am and 6 pm.
The mobile location will also be offering Frapp-ehs (made with sister brand Moozoo gelato), poutine, fries, and Beaverdogs (an all-beef Nathan’s hot dog wrapped in the BeaverTails signature pastry).
So be sure to head over, take a photo with BeaverTails’ mascot Beav, and bask in the glory of the piping hot, buttery treat topped with your choice of goodies.
If you can’t make it on May 6 don’t worry, there will more opportunities to pick up a sweet treat in the coming weeks. Here are some other dates to mark in your calendar:

Currently there are only two other locations of the dessert spot in Alberta, one in Canmore and one in Banff, so we are pumped to have this classic Canadian treat available in Calgary.
