Kevin Smith biopic 'Shooting Clerks' official trailer released

Kevin Smith is returning to the multiplex in his big screen biopic Shooting Clerks.

Directed by Christopher Downie, Shooting Clerks follows the story of Smith and how he made his first film Clerks.

What makes this meeting different is that Kevin Smith is not playing himself. Instead, he will be playing another role in the film, alongside the cast from the original Clerks movie.

“I know a lot of fans are going to see this trailer and criticize our work. And they have every right. Clerks’ fans are a particular set, and I know, because I am one. But all I can say is the majority of the original cast signed on for this film. They gave it their stamp of approval, and hopefully you will too,” said the film’s producer and production manager, Felix Kay.

The film is in talks with Netflix and will have it’s official world launch at the Orlando Film Festival, which runs from October 19 to 23 in Orlando, Florida.

Be sure to check updates on Facebook to see when the film is coming to theatres near you.
