One of the most picturesque outdoor spas in the province will be opening on March 2.

The Kananaskis Nordic Spa is an interesting mix between Canadian and Nordic influences, offering would-be relaxers a multitude of options for soaking, swimming, and meditating.

Attendees will be able to access outdoor pools, sauna cabins, a salt water float pool, fire-side lounges, and more starting this Friday.

“Kananaskis Nordic Spa is a four-season, alpine sanctuary of invigoration, created for the pioneers of today; those who aren’t afraid to face the elements head-on,” states the spa’s website.

The spa is located at Delta Hotels by Marriott Kananaskis Lodge just south of Nakiska Ski Resort, and spans an outstanding 50,000 total square feet.

Once open, the spa will be operating on reduced hours, though Friday, Saturday, and Sundays, it will take customers from 9 am to 9 pm. When construction is fully complete, the spa will operate 365 days a year.
