Jasper, Alberta knows how to throw a winter party like no other.
Jasper in January is set to kick off its 29th year in January 2018, with three weekends full of art, music, dance, food, and winter activities.

Some events are ticketed while others are free to attend, but with over 40 different things to do throughout the three weeks of festivities, we’re sure you’ll find something to enjoy.
A few of the highlights are the annual Chilli Cook-Off, ice climbing lessons, dark sky snowshoe tours, medieval martial arts workshops, and a pond hockey tournament.

The festival kicks off on January 11 and ends on January 28, with most of the events taking place during the weekends – though there are more than a few things to do during week days in Jasper, including snowshoeing, skiing, and ice skating.
