Grey Cup rally turned YYC red and white after Stampeders win (PHOTOS)

The Grey Cup has come home to Calgary.

Following the Stampeders’ big win on Sunday over the Ottawa RedBlack, fans, players, and coaches alike gathered at the Calgary Municipal Building on Tuesday to celebrate the victory.

Thwarting the RedBlacks 27-16 on an icy Edmonton field, the Stampeders (ironically) had their first celebration in the locker room of their Albertan rivals before making their way back down south.

A rally was organized by the city to allow anyone who may not have attended the game in YEG the chance to show their red and white pride, and Calgarians came out in full force.

Entertainment was provided by the Outriders cheerleading squad and the Stamps’ mascot Ralph the Dog, and there were even some food trucks on scene for anyone who happened to be on their lunch break.
