The Granary Road Public Market is hosting their first ever Apple Fest over four days this weekend, and alongside the usual market fare there will be different types of apples, apple pies, applewood cheese, and more.

Venders have gotten creative by incorporating apples into their usual dishes, and The Perogy Guy food truck will be there with – get this – apple crisp perogies.

Apple crisp? Delicious. Perogies? Awesome. So it stands to reason that apple crisp perogies must be deliciously awesome, or at least awesomely delicious.

An apple scavenger hunt has been organized at the Granary Road Learning Park, a park featuring three kilometres of trails connecting 11 exhibits, located right beside the public market.

The market is free, but the learning park is a $13 to $17 admission.
