It's going to snow in Calgary on the third day of spring
Spring has officially sprung in Calgary! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping… and there’s apparently some grey, snow-filled clouds just past the horizon coming our way.
Come on, did you really think winter would let us off that easy? This is Canada we’re talking about here, and Canada means cold.
While we may be enjoying a few sunny days to start spring off on the right foot, by the time Thursday hits, we’ll be plunged back into the white and fluffy abyss from whence we came.

Dry those frozen tears though because the weekend should bring enough sun and warmth (we’re talking a scorching 5°C on Sunday) to melt whatever may fall on Thursday night.
We guess it all comes down to if you’d prefer snowy skies or a chinook headache – though good things do always come in twos, so we’ll be keeping an eye on the forecast as we get further into spring.
