9 food banks in and around Calgary and how to donate to them

No matter what time of year it is, it’s always a good time to help out your local food bank.

Whether you’re donating food, clothing, or your time – these spots are thankful to have your input. Many of these organizations have ‘wish lists’, or specific items they need, so be sure to check out their websites beforehand if you’re picking up some things for those in need.

Here are 9 food banks in and around Calgary and where you can donate.

Please note donation hours may differ from pickup/distribution hours.

9. The Mustard Seed

Even the rain could not stop the amazing DemoCrew groups from the Oklahoma-based First Baptist Church of Glenpool & the Calgary-based Foothills Alliance Church from serving delicious Subs ‘n Floats to The Mustard Seed guests during the lunch hour today in #yyc.
