The historic King Eddy kicks into high-gear as a pop-up country bar with the return of the Bell Live Series from July 6-15.
On July 12, alt-country troubadour Dustin Bentall writes tales about everyday life and loss. The narcotic cowboy thing you hear in Dustin’s music comes from his love for Gram Parsons, The Flying Burrito Brothers and the Byrds with their so-called ‘Cosmic American Music.’ As a songwriter, he finds the heart of his inspirations while placing songs under his own landscapes. As the son of legendary musician Barney Bentall, songwriting is simply part of his DNA. Sean Burns and the Windy City Band will open the night.
**Cover is free before 7 pm with House Band Ghostboy featuring Mark Parsons performing from 12 pm to 3 pm and Boots & the Hoots on stage from 4 pm to 6 pm.
