Elbow Room opens with 'mingled menu' of Canadian cuisine

Focusing on the multi-culturally influenced sphere of Canadian cuisine, Elbow Room has recently opened up in Britannia, serving brunch, lunch, dinner, and drinks with what they’re calling a “mingled-menu” experience.

Sure, you can go at the menu here small plates style, or you can feast just fine on your own (that’s what Elbow Room means by “mingled-menu,”–you mix it up the way you want). Executive Chef Ryan Blackwell and Chef De Cuisine Stuart Leduc are putting out dishes like a crab and corn bisque, a vegetarian “paté,” wood-grilled octopus, flatbreads, pastas, pork tenderloin, steaks, and much more.

For lunch and brunch, you’ll find things like Liege Waffles, Croque Madame, and Avocado Toast on offer, along with select dishes from the dinner menu. Their brunch includes a well-rounded selection of breakfast plates like Bennies, and coffee and tea drinks.

For beverages, their bar menu is thoughtfully divided into categories of custom cocktails, along with a range of beers on tap and by the bottle, a number of wines from around the world, non-alcoholic concoctions, and tea and coffee drinks. Their Happy Hour runs from 2 to 5 pm Tuesday through Friday and includes a selection of affordable eats and sips.

Located in Britannia, Elbow Room is well-situated in an area that’s near popular spots like Village Ice Cream, and soon to be joined by Grumans Deli’s second location.
