These are the performers for this year's East Village Summer Music Series

Live music and summer just go hand in hand.

There’s nothing better than stumbling onto a free live performance while out for a casual stroll, and East Village’s C Square will be continuously jamming out for the rest of the summer.

The Summer Music Series is an initiative to bring the community together around music, and the family-friendly event is entirely free to attend.

This year the organizers have put together quite the lineup, with musical performances ranging in genre from a rock duo to an entire chamber ensemble.

Swing by the corner of 7th Avenue and 4th Street during a Saturday afternoon and you’ll be sure to hear some awesome tunes.

Of course, we wouldn’t blame you if you felt like dancing.
