Dark Table is officially open in downtown Calgary

An exciting new dining concept is finally open in Calgary.

You can now head to Dark Table to experience dining in the dark at 731 16th Avenue SW, right in the heart of downtown.

When you step into Dark Table, you’ll be welcomed into a lighted lounge area, where guests will select the dishes and beverages to enjoy that evening. After diners have made all their choices, a blind or visually impaired server called a ‘guide server’ will lead you to your table in complete darkness.

This eatery offers you a dining concept like no other, where smell and taste take centre stage and the flavour experience is elevated by removing your sense of sight.

This is Dark Table’s second location, with the first spot located in Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighbourhood.
